Collection: Pressure Switch
A hot tub pressure switch is the small safety component on your heater manifold that confirms the pump is actually moving water before the heater turns on. No flow, no heat — it's what prevents your heater element from dry-firing and cracking. When the switch fails, you'll see a flow error code on the topside (FL, FLO, or similar) and the heater locks out. This collection covers replacement pressure switches for the common control packs used in Arctic Spas and other major brands.
We stock the Tecmark switches used across Arctic Spas — the Model 3902, the 4163P-EW for current models, the 4035P for swim spas — plus the Global and Gecko cables that connect them to the board. Free Ontario shipping over $169, or same-day pickup in Kitchener, London or Windsor.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my pressure switch is bad?
Classic symptoms: heater won't fire even though the pump is running, topside shows a flow code (FL, FLO, FLC, HFL depending on control pack), or the switch clicks audibly but the heater still won't engage. Test with a multimeter for continuity when the pump is on.
Can I bypass a hot tub pressure switch temporarily?
No. Bypassing the pressure switch is the fastest way to crack a heater element and turn a $40 part into a $400 repair. If it's bad, replace it.
Are hot tub pressure switches universal?
There are a few common spec sets (1/8" or 1/4" thread, 1 PSI vs 2 PSI activation) and most Arctic Spas pressure switches fall into the same Tecmark family. Confirm thread size and PSI before ordering.
