Collection: Fuse
When your hot tub goes dead — no display, no pump, no heater — a blown fuse on the control pack circuit board is one of the cheapest and most common causes. This collection has the common amperages used in Arctic Spas and most other major-brand control packs, including standard ATC blade-style fuses and the larger ceramic cartridge fuses used on heater circuits. Match the amperage exactly to what's printed on the old fuse or the board silkscreen — putting in a higher-amp fuse can damage the board.
Fits most Arctic Spas hot tubs; if you're unsure which type your control pack uses (Gecko, Balboa, or Arctic's own), snap a photo of the board and our Kitchener, London, or Windsor team will confirm. Free Ontario shipping over $169.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my hot tub fuse keep blowing?
A fuse that blows once is usually a one-off (power surge, lightning). A fuse that blows repeatedly means something downstream is drawing too much current — typically a failing pump, a shorted heater element, or water in the control pack. Don't just keep replacing — find the cause.
How do I know what amperage fuse I need?
It's printed on the side of the old fuse and/or silkscreened on the board next to the fuse holder. Match it exactly. Never upsize.
Can I replace a hot tub fuse myself?
Yes, if you're comfortable shutting off the breaker and opening the control pack. Always disconnect power at the breaker first, confirm with a tester, then swap the fuse. If anything looks burnt or smells off, call a tech.
Are hot tub fuses the same as automotive fuses?
Some control packs use standard ATC blade fuses (yes, identical to car fuses), while others use ceramic cartridge fuses. Check before buying — they're not interchangeable.
