Collection: Diverter

A diverter valve is the topside handle that routes water flow between two jet groups — turn it one way to send pressure to the seat you're sitting in, the other way to feed the lounger. Over time the o-rings dry out, the handle cracks from UV exposure, or the internal cap seizes. This collection has full diverter valve assemblies plus replacement caps and handles to fix the most common failures without tearing into the plumbing.

Most diverters are 1" or 2" in body size — measure the visible cap diameter before ordering. Fits most Arctic Spas hot tubs across the Klondiker, Yukon, Frontier, Tundra, and Cub lines; if you have an older tub, bring or photo the part to our Kitchener, London, or Windsor showroom and we'll match it. Frequently asked questions

How do I know what size diverter I need?

Pop the handle off and measure the cap (the round piece that screws down). The two standard sizes are 1" and 2" — those refer to the plumbing inside, not the cap diameter itself, but most listings show both measurements.

My diverter handle spins freely — do I need a whole new valve?

Often no — usually it's just the internal cap or the o-rings that have worn out. Try a cap and o-ring rebuild kit first. If water still won't divert, then replace the full valve.

Can I replace a diverter without draining the tub?

You can replace the cap, handle, and o-rings with the tub full as long as you can isolate the valve above the waterline. Replacing the whole valve body usually requires draining below the diverter.

Will an aftermarket diverter fit my Arctic Spas tub?

Most Arctic Spas use industry-standard Waterway-style diverters that aftermarket parts fit. Confirm size first, and if in doubt send us a photo before ordering.
