It's a high-purity blend made for spa electrolysis cells — it dissolves clean, without the anti-caking agents and impurities in water-softener or pool salt that coat electrode plates and shorten cell life.
Why the right salt matters: Your Onzen or Spa Boy generates sanitizer by passing current across titanium plates. Anything else dissolved in the water — iron, additives, filler — ends up on those plates, and fouled plates mean weaker chlorine output and earlier cell replacement. A purpose-made blend is the cheapest protection your salt system can get.
How much to add at a fresh fill:
- 7' spas — about 2 kg (one 2 kg container)
- 8' spas — about 3 kg
- 10' spas — about 4 kg
- 14' swim spas — about 12 kg
