Arctic Pure | Easy Clear

Arctic Pure Easy Clear is a polymer-based water clarifier for hot tubs and spas. It clears cloudy water by binding fine particles — body oils, sweat, dead skin cells, lotion residue, and microscopic debris — into clumps large enough for your filter to catch on the next cycle.

Why your filter alone isn't enough: A spa filter catches particles down to about 20 microns. Most of what makes spa water cloudy — oils, organic waste from bathers, dissolved minerals, and broken-down sanitizer byproducts — is far smaller than that, so it passes straight through and stays suspended. Easy Clear coagulates those particles into larger clumps so your filter can finally pull them out.

When to use it: Add Easy Clear when your water has gone hazy or dull despite balanced chemistry and a recently cleaned filter. It's especially useful after a heavy bather load (hot tub party, weekend of guests) or when you notice that your water just doesn't look as "sparkling" as it should. You can also add a maintenance dose weekly if your spa sees daily use.

How to use it: With your pumps running and the cover off, add one capful per 1,500 litres (350 gallons) directly into the spa water. Run the jets on high for at least 30 minutes to circulate the clarifier through the system. Leave the cover off for the first hour. You should see the water start to clear within a few hours; full clarity usually returns within 24 hours. Clean or rinse your filter the next day — it'll be holding the trapped debris.

Quick tips:

• Less is more — overdosing a clarifier can clog your filter and make cloudiness worse
• Always shock the spa with Arctic Pure Refresh before adding clarifier; it works better in oxidized water
• If your water stays cloudy after a clarifier dose plus a filter clean, it's time to drain and refill — clarifier can't fix saturated water
