The Filter Weir Assembly with Basket (Black) is the complete filter intake assembly for Arctic Spas — includes the weir door (the floating gate that catches surface water for filtration), the basket (which holds the filter cartridge in place), and the surrounding housing. Replace it when the weir door has cracked, the basket has gone brittle, or the housing has been damaged.

What the filter weir does: The weir is the rectangular door at the spa rim that water flows over as the surface level rises and falls during use. It catches surface debris (leaves, hair, oils) and directs it into the filter basket below, where the filter cartridge captures it. Without a working weir, surface debris stays on the spa surface (because the filter intake is below water line and only catches what's already submerged).
