The 5.5kW 90° with 45 Heater is a 5.5 kilowatt replacement heater for Arctic Spas built with a 90-degree elbow on one end of the stainless tube plus a 45-degree fitting — the configuration for equipment bays where the plumbing makes a compound turn at the heater rather than running straight through or taking a single corner. Includes the pressure-switch port and the integrated power cord pigtail ready to land on the motherboard.

When you'll need a new heater: spa heaters typically last 5-10 years. The common failures are the element scaling over and burning out (preventable with a Scale Free routine), the high-limit sensor tripping repeatedly from internal corrosion, or visible leaks at the heater body. The classic symptom: pumps run fine, temperature won't hold.
