Pillow Friction Fit Black

The Friction Fit Pillow (Black) is a black headrest pillow that presses into the dedicated pillow recess on your spa shell using a friction-fit design — no suction cups, no weighted base, no extra hardware. It just snaps into the molded pillow location and stays there flush with the shell.

Why friction-fit is the cleanest option: Suction-cup pillows depend on the cups holding their grip, which fades over time and with chemical exposure. Weighted pillows work but sit on top of the shell rather than flush with it, which some owners find aesthetically clunky. Friction-fit slots into the molded recess that the spa was designed with — the pillow sits flush, looks original, and only comes out when you want to clean it. The trade-off is that friction-fit pillows only work in spas with the matching molded pillow recess.

Will this fit my spa? Yes, on Arctic Spas with the standard friction-fit pillow recesses (the molded depression in the back of seats where pillows are designed to sit). If your spa doesn't have molded pillow recesses, you need a Weighted Spa Pillow or a Suction Cup Pillow instead. Bring your old pillow (or take a photo of the empty recess) to one of our three Ontario showrooms if you're not sure of the fit.

Quick tips:

• Remove and rinse the pillow weekly — sunscreen and body oils accumulate on any spa pillow
• Store dry over the winter if your spa is shut down — freeze cycles damage the foam core
• If your friction-fit recess is showing wear and the new pillow doesn't grip well, the recess itself may need replacement — bring the spa specs to one of our showrooms
