Silver Sentinel Disposable Filter (Drop-In Without Handle)

The Silver Sentinel drop-in is the maintenance-free disposable filter for Arctic Spas and Coyote spas built before 2009 — the models with the floating-weir filter well and no handle on the filter top.

Silver Sentinel filters are made from hundreds of layers of porous polypropylene (the same material as plastic drink bottles). Water is filtered at every layer, and each layer captures smaller particles — so you filter more out of your hot tub water in less time than a pleated cartridge can. After about three months, toss it in the recycling bin and drop in a fresh one. No cleaning, no filter cleaner, and counting the time and chemicals saved, it usually works out cheaper than pleated paper filters.
