The X10 connects to a standard garden hose and filters your fill water on its way into the spa. Its KDF and granular activated carbon media remove up to 99% of common water contaminants — iron, copper, lime, calcium, and volatile organic compounds — the stuff that causes staining, scale, cloudy water, and sanitizer burn-through before you've even balanced the tub.

Southwestern Ontario water (municipal and especially well water) tends to run hard and metal-heavy, so pre-filtering at fill time is the single easiest way to start a water-care cycle on the right foot. Fill slowly at low-to-medium pressure for the best filtration.
