AquaChek Red Bromine

AquaChek Red is the weekly 4-in-1 test for bromine hot tubs — one strip reads the four numbers a bromine spa lives by:

• Total bromine — confirms your sanitizer is in the effective range
• Total hardness — enough calcium to protect equipment, not enough to scale
• pH — the 7.2–7.6 band that keeps water comfortable and non-corrosive
• Total alkalinity — the buffer that prevents sudden pH swings

How to use it: dip for one second, hold the strip level, wait, and compare the pads against the bottle's colour chart. Test once or twice a week — and always the day after shocking, since bromine tablets pull pH and alkalinity down over time.

Works with: spas sanitized with Bromine Tablets or Peak Boost granular bromine. If you're on chlorine or an Onzen/Spa Boy salt system, you want AquaChek Yellow instead.
