Pleated Filter (Thread-In) | Small

The Pleated Filter (Thread-In, Small) is a cleanable cartridge filter for the smaller-footprint ArcticSpas-logo filter intake found on Arctic Spas built in 2011 or later. It's the reusable, washable alternative to the disposable Silver Sentinel Small Thread-In for the same intake.

Why choose pleated over disposable: A pleated filter is rinsed clean and re-installed instead of being recycled every three months. If you're on well water — which often carries iron, manganese, or higher dissolved solids than municipal water — a pleated filter pays back faster because you can deep-clean it as often as needed without buying a new cartridge. It's also the better choice if you simply prefer cleaning a filter to replacing one.

Will this fit my spa? Yes, if your Arctic Spa is a 2011+ model with the smaller threaded ArcticSpas-logo filter intake (typical of the more compact spa footprints in the lineup). If your spa has the standard-size threaded intake, you need the full-size Pleated Filter 50' Thread-In instead. Not sure which intake you have? How to clean it: Rinse the pleats top to bottom with a garden hose every 2-4 weeks. Once a quarter, soak the filter overnight in a filter-cleaning solution like Aqua Finesse Filter Cleaner, then rinse thoroughly. A well-maintained pleated filter typically lasts 12-18 months before the pleats break down and you need a fresh cartridge.

• Keep a spare on hand and rotate — soak one while the other runs
• Never use a pressure washer; it shreds the pleats
• If your filter is collapsing or the pleats have gone permanently grey, it's time to replace it
