Weld-On 747 Pool & Spa Cement (1/4 pint, blue) is the standard PVC plumbing cement for hot tub and spa repairs. It's the blue-formula cement specifically rated for use under continuous water pressure and elevated temperature — the conditions inside spa plumbing that destroy the cheaper grey "general PVC" cement you'd use on a residential drain pipe.

When you'll need this: Use Weld-On 747 for any PVC plumbing repair inside the spa equipment bay — cracked unions, broken fittings, replacement of a section of pipe between heater and pump, or any time you're adding/removing a fitting that needs to be cemented in place. The blue colour also makes it easy to see where you've applied cement so you can verify a clean joint before assembly.

How to use it: Always pair with PVC Primer — primer cleans and softens the PVC surface so the cement creates a chemical weld rather than just a glue bond. Apply primer to both surfaces, then cement to both surfaces, push together with a quarter-turn, hold for 30 seconds, and let cure for at least 30 minutes before water pressure. Full cure to spa-pressure-rated joint is 24 hours.
