On/Off Cap

The On/Off Cap is the threaded top cap of an On/Off air valve on Arctic Spas — the part you grip and turn to switch a jet group's airflow on or off. Standard black profile, threaded fitment, the most common factory replacement. Replace it when the cap is cracked, the splines have stripped from over-tightening, or the colour has chalked from years of UV.

Why On/Off caps fail faster than air control caps: On/Off caps go fully closed and fully open with every cycle, with more torque applied each time than the gentle adjustments of an air control. The splines wear faster, the rubber seal under the cap compresses more, and the cap face takes more direct hand contact. A cap that feels gritty or sticky to turn is on its way out.

Quick tips:

• Replace the underlying On/Off Internal O-ring at the same time — they age together
• Don't overtighten when installing — finger-tight plus a touch is enough
