Pump Marvel

Pump Marvel is a garden-hose-powered drain pump for hot tubs and pool covers — no electricity required. Pressure from an ordinary garden hose drives the pumping action, so there's no cord, no motor, and nothing electrical anywhere near the water.

Why it beats relying on the gravity drain: spa drain valves sit above the true bottom of the shell and give up with an inch or more of water still in the footwell. Pump Marvel takes the spa down to the last 1/8 inch — dry enough to wipe the shell clean and refill without yesterday's water in the mix.

How to use it: connect a garden hose (not included) to the pump, route the included 12-foot discharge hose to your drain spot, set the pump at the spa's low point, and turn the tap on. It moves up to 575 gallons per hour and can lift water up to 20 feet, so an uphill run isn't a dealbreaker.
