Cover Lifter Hydraulic Assist Cylinders

Replacement gas cylinders for the Hydraulic Assist Cover Lifter — sold as the service part so you don't replace a perfectly good lifter when only the struts wear out.

When you need them: hydraulic cylinders typically last 5–10 years. The tell-tale signs they're done: the cover no longer stays up on its own, sinks slowly while you're in the spa, or the lift has lost its "assist" and feels like dead weight again.

Fits: the Hydraulic Assist Cover Lifter (PRT-114985) and the Basket Cabinet Free lifter, which uses the same cylinders. The brackets and arms on your existing lifter are good for the life of the spa — only the cylinders swap out.

Installation is a simple swap: unclip the old cylinders and clip in the new pair.
