ProAqua | Floating Dispenser

The ProAqua Floating Dispenser is a slow-release sanitizer dispenser that floats on the surface of your spa water. You load it with chlorine or bromine tabs, set the dosing rate using the adjustable bottom vent, and let it slowly meter out sanitizer as you use the spa.

Why use a floating dispenser instead of dosing tabs directly: Putting tabs directly into the spa or into the filter compartment leads to two problems — either the tabs dissolve too fast (overshocking the water and burning out swimsuits or eyes) or they sit in direct contact with acrylic and cause bleaching spots that never fully fade. A floating dispenser keeps the tabs moving so they release evenly, away from the acrylic, and at a rate you control.

How to use it: Drop in 1-3 chlorine or bromine tablets (depending on your spa size and bather load), close the lid, and adjust the bottom vent — wider open for faster release, narrower for slower. Let it float on the surface during normal use. Most owners find they refill the dispenser every 1-3 weeks depending on use, but daily users may go through tabs much faster.

Compatible with: Standard 1" chlorine and bromine tabs, including Arctic Pure Spa Tabs (Chlorine) and Arctic Pure Bromine Tablets.

Quick tips:

• Always remove the floating dispenser before getting in — a tab against your skin for any length of time will cause a bleach spot or chemical burn
• Empty the dispenser before draining and refilling, and never store it with tabs inside (the residual moisture corrodes the lid mechanism)
• If you're on a salt water system (Onzen or Spa Boy), you don't need a floating dispenser — your salt cell is generating sanitizer continuously
